The Inflation Reduction Act, which will do nothing to fight inflation, has a feature you may be interested in.
In addition to feeding Democrat pet projects, there is funding for 87,000 new IRS agents.
That tells me the government is about ready to ramp up audits and guess who will be targeted.
Get Ready for Audits
Joe Biden is trying to find ways to pay for all this government spending.
They keep talking about everyone paying their fair share, but every move he makes is going to come back on the little people.
For instance, this legislation raises taxes on corporations, which we all know always get passed off to the consumers.
Additionally, it is funding the hiring of an additional 87,000 agents.
When the White House was asked if there would be more audits of the middle-class, it refused to answer, so we know what that means.
So we are now paying $80 billion to get more penalties from the IRS.
This is like being slapped in the face with your own hand.
In addition to the fear of audits, people making less than $10,000 a year will see an increase in taxes of 0.3 percent.
Those making less than $200,000 a year will see an increase overall of $16.7 billion.
Those numbers come from the nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT).
It will be a miracle if any of us make it to 2025 without being dead broke.
