Impeachment Resolution Introduced Against Fani Willis

Fani Willis, the Fulton County, Georgia, district attorney accused of having an affair with her subordinate amid a prosecution of former President Donald Trump, cannot weasel her way out of this one.

An impeachment resolution has been introduced against Willis.

It appears her days in the courtroom may very well be coming to an end.

She is looking guiltier by the day, and Rep. Charlice Byrd could not agree more.

That’s why Byrd has officially introduced articles of impeachment against Willis.

Byrd posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to confirm she had moved forward with the articles of impeachment against Willis.

“With freedom on the line, bold action is necessary. It’s time for the legislature to do its constitutional duty and hold corrupt Fulton DA Fani Willis accountable, which is why I have introduced H.R. 872, articles of impeachment against Fani Willis,” Byrd wrote in her recent post.

In the actual statement attached to Byrd’s post on X, Byrd called for action from lawmakers.

“The time to act is now and I encourage my colleagues in the General Assembly to join me and impeach Fani Willis,” Byrd said.

While Willis has not directly addressed the affair allegations as of yet, a judge has ordered her to respond to them by early February.

Soon, Willis will not be able to talk her way out of the situation any longer.

The same judge also ordered Willis to appear in court to discuss the allegations later next month.

The D.A.'s days are numbered.

Willis knows it. Byrd knows it.

Most importantly, Trump knows it.

If the allegations are confirmed to be true, this could give Trump and his team all the leverage they need.

Do you think Willis had an affair with Wade and engaged in other inappropriate conduct?

What should happen if the allegations against Willis are proven?
