In March 2016, Joe Biden visited troops at an undisclosed location in southwest Asia.
During that appearance, he made a couple of disparaging remarks to the troops that seemed less than enthused to have him speak at their base.
Among other insults, Biden called them a bunch of “stupid bastards” when they didn’t applaud his comments.
You Can’t Say That!
President Trump has had significant clashes with some of the brass in our military.
This is to be expected during the course of a presidency but it is usually not made so public.
While he clashes with the brass, Trump is arguably one of the most troop-friendly presidents we have ever seen.
It is hard to remember a president that has stood with so many families receiving a fallen soldier, but this is something Trump does regularly.
That is quite the contrast from how Joe Biden treated the troops during an appearance when he was still the Vice President.
When they didn’t clap after a comment clearly made to draw applause, Biden called them “stupid bastards.”
He would go on to call them “a dull bunch” as well as saying the soldiers “must be slow.”
Just one question… where is the national outrage over this?
Trump used the term “son of a bitch” when he discussed NFL players kneeling for the anthem, and the entire left went nuts.
In the space of about 30 seconds, Biden insinuated our soldiers are mentally challenged, not intelligent, and despicable people.
If I were Trump, this would be made into a political ad and played on loops every time he made an appearance in front of the troops for the remainder of this election cycle.
