Biden’s Broken Afghanistan Promise is 1-year-old

August 18, 2021…

It is a date that will define this presidency.

Joe Biden, at the time, stated, “If there’s American citizens left, we’re gonna stay to get them all out.”

He did not, and the media let him get away with it.

Shameful

Biden even doubled down on the claim when ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked him, “Are you committed to making sure that the troops stay until every American who wants to be out is out?”

Biden responded, “Yes.”

There were about 1,000 Americans “confirmed” left behind, but the real numbers are far more staggering.

When you add in Afghan nationals helping our troops, we are talking about tens of thousands of people left behind enemy lines.

That and the $7 billion in abandoned military equipment should have ended Biden, but he survived because the media, save a quick blip on the radar, refused to cover it.

One year later, people are still trying to get out, although that number remains a mystery.

A State Department official stated, “We continue to work with U.S. citizens who have expressed a desire to depart Afghanistan and have the necessary travel documents to do so.

“This number fluctuates regularly as U.S. citizens change their minds about leaving, or as some continue to return to Afghanistan for various reasons.”

One year later, Americans are still trapped behind enemy lines, and nobody seems to care, least of all this administration.
