Joe Biden is about to hit taxpayers with another massive spending bill that will exceed $2 trillion.
Just like the other bills, not all of the money in the bill is actually earmarked for the label Democrats are using to sell the bill.
In this bill specifically, we are looking at electric vehicles, an earmark that is likely to make House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) far richer than she already is.
For those of you not aware, Pelosi’s net worth is in excess of $100 million… pretty nice for someone that has never actually worked a real job in her life.
Nancy’s husband is Paul Pelosi, the founder of Financial Leasing Services, a venture capital firm.
That is important to know because he is a key player in all of this.
Going back to December, after the election had been more or less finalized, Paul Pelosi plopped down a huge investment in the electric vehicle sector.
While the exact amount has not been made public, we do know it was between $500,000 and $1 million, a pretty sizeable investment, even for someone with their wealth.
Now, anyone that does not think Pelosi and Biden had not discussed infrastructure plans at this point or that Pelosi did not share that information with her husband is a fool.
When we now see the bill and realize that $174 billion has been earmarked for subsidies in the electric vehicle market, who do you think will benefit from this legislation once it passes through the Oval Office?
The media is finally wising up to this, and Pelosi’s office was put on the spot regarding the block of Tesla stock currently sitting in their account.
Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff Drew Hammill is claiming the stock purchase was all new to Pelosi and she had no knowledge of the trade before it happened.
Hammill stated, “If you read the disclosure here, you will see that under the ‘Owner’ column each is marked SP for spouse.
“The speaker has no involvement or prior knowledge of these transactions.”
This is akin to me telling you about a great new steak restaurant, knowing you love steak, then acting surprised when you went there to eat dinner.
Nancy Pelosi did not have to know her husband was going to make the purchase to be guilty here because he was surely privy to the same information she had and made his decision based on that information.
We, of course, can never prove that, because Pelosi will go to her grave protecting her lies.
This legislation, much like the COVID bill, is fat for Democrats to feed pet projects and get rich.
There is a mere six percent of the bill actually touted for “roads and bridges.”
As Senator McConnell (R-KY) recently noted, “It would spend more money just on electric cars than on America’s roads, bridges, ports, airports and waterways combined.”
Hammill’s excuse should not be enough to call off the hounds here… Pelosi needs to answer for this, and she needs to answer for it right now!
