Briefing Gets Testy When Reporter Calls Out Biden Administration for False Credit

State Department Spokesperson Ned Price was holding a press conference to tout some early achievements of the Biden administration.

The problem, however, was that the plan they were taking credit for was put in play during the Trump administration.

Were it not for an Associated Press reporter, the claim would have gone unchallenged but instead, a glaring problem within this administration was exposed.

False Credit

The report was being given on the progress of scaling back Nord Stream 2, which is a controversial energy project to transmit natural gas from Russia to Germany.

This was something that had been started during the Trump administration but that has seen significant progress recently.

Price stated that 18 new companies have engaged in “good faith efforts” to scale back their use of the pipeline, which most experts say would make Europe Russian-dependent for its energy needs.

When Price touted the progress, clearly trying to get the Biden administration credit for the deal, an AP reporter slammed him.

Reporter Matt Lee asked, “You guys have only been in office for a month, right?

“Are you telling me that in the last four weeks these 18 companies all of the sudden decided to say, ‘Oh my God! We better not doing anything with Nord Stream 2.

“You guys are taking credit for stuff the previous administration did. Yes or no?”

Price was clearly surprised by the pushback and stammered his way through his answer.

This is what the Biden administration has been doing and Joe Biden has been very complicit in this as well.

After all, it was only last week when Biden made it sound like his administration was the one that got the vaccine distribution started, even though Biden and Harris both received their vaccine before they ever took office!

Joe Biden promised that his administration would not lie, and it (and this includes Joe Biden himself) has already been caught telling lies or misrepresenting the facts more than a dozen times.

Joe Biden was literally caught doing this seven times himself during his recent CNN town hall, even though Anderson Cooper failed to call him out in real-time on any of them.

At least now it appears as though the media is getting a little sick of the deception and starting to call them out for it.
