The reduced police presence in New York continues to take its toll.
This week, a horrifying daylight murder was captured on video in the Upper East Side of New York.
The murder occurred right around 2:30 p.m., without an officer in sight.
From what I have seen of the video, it may have been a carjacking gone bad.
The victim, 20-year-old Chris Delinois, was sitting behind the wheel of his Honda HRV.
The suspect is seen in the back of the SUV holding a handgun when he jumps out, then fires at least one shot at the driver.
Delinois was hit in the stomach and tries to drive away, which is when the suspect tries to get back into the vehicle…
The suspect flees the scene and after first responders arrived, Delinois was rushed to the hospital, but he did succumb to his injuries.
With every passing week, New York gets bloodier and bloodier, with this past week being the worst yet of the year.
All the while, there remains a group of Democrats that continue to support defunding the police nationally.
One would think with the uptick in violence we have seen in blue states that have reduced police presence, common sense would start to kick in, but that has yet to happen.
If Democrats have their way, every day will be a real-life purge in this country.
