UN Diplomat Skirts Rape Charges Due to Diplomatic Immunity

One of the most disgusting reports I have seen came out on Monday.

Charles Dickens Imene Oliha, 46 — a career diplomat for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in South Sudan – allegedly raped a woman this weekend.

Police let him go, however, due to his diplomatic immunity.

A neighbor of Oliha accused the diplomat of raping her in Upper Manhattan this weekend.

Police initially took Oliha into custody for questioning of the alleged rape.

He immediately told NYPD’s Special Victims Unit he was a diplomat and poof, he was set free.

The alleged victim was returning from walking a neighbor’s dog when Oliha allegedly told her he would follow her upstairs.

She resisted, but he forced his way inside, then allegedly assaulted her.

The woman stated that she was raped twice without a condom, so DNA evidence should not be hard to obtain.

The deputy permanent representative for the embassy of South Sudan, Cecilia Adeng, stated that Sudan was not aware of the charges, but they were going to bring Oliha in to discuss the report.

She stated, “He’s going to be coming in. So I will have a conversation with him and then get back to you.

“And of course this is not something that’s tolerable at all.

“So we’ll be reporting to our headquarters and seeing what’s going on.”

How about revoking his diplomatic immunity and letting the cards fall where they may?

Otherwise, get this scum out of our country.

  1. Let’s hope the State Department tosses his Diplomatic Immunity butt out of the country. If he’s a Muslim he could be facing harsh punishment back home in South Sudan.
I worked in Saudi Arabia back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Rape in Saudi Arabia got you a “Friday Afternoon” appointment – to be beheaded. They take a dim view of rape in Saudi Arabia and justice IS swift.

  2. Garnish his pay for her medical bills and child support max until the child is 21, if she is pregnant and decides to let it live …. but I hope for her sake she is not – a helluva reminder.
