Ethics Committee: Tlaib Violated Campaign Finance Laws

Another member of the Squad has been taken down.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) has been found guilty of campaign finance violations by the Ethics Committee.

She will now have to repay the $10,800 within the next 12 months.

Another One Bites the Dust

Tlaib is one of the four prominent members of the Squad.

She is also now the second member of the uber-progressive freshman class that has been found guilty of campaign finance violations.

The unanimous ruling “determined that the evidence is sufficient to support a determination that a portion of the salary payments that Representative Tlaib received after the 2018 general election was inconsistent with the requirements outlined by [FECA] and its implementing regulations.”

In the Real World

If Tlaib were in the real world rather than the fantasy world that politicians get to live in, she would have lost her job as well as be facing charges of embezzlement.

Instead, after recently winning her primary election, she will now be up for a second term in Congress.

This is something that has always baffled me, meaning how can they clearly break a law, yet not only not pay any legal price but also maintain their position?

When someone, regardless of the reason, steals from their campaign finances, they should be immediately removed from office, not given a slap on the wrist and sent on their way to do business as usual.

The truly sad thing about all of this is because her district is blue, she will get rewarded with a second term in office, collecting a paycheck from American taxpayers for another two years.

The system is broken and sadly, it will probably never be fixed.

Biden just signed a bill to raise taxes during a recession, send the IRS after the middle class, and give rich liberals tax credits to buy luxury electric vehicles.

President Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan was a complete disaster.

I renew my call on Michael Bennet to demand that the Biden administration fully release the Afghanistan after action reports — the public deserves full transparency.

Last year, Biden told us Afghanistan wouldn’t fall. He promised the withdrawal wouldn’t be another Saigon.

He could not have been more wrong.
