On Sunday, the country was shaken after yet another Palestinian attack occurred in Israel.
A Palestinian resident opened fire on a tourist bus.
In all, eight people were injured.
That total included a family and a pregnant woman from Brooklyn, NY.
The bus took fire while parked in a lot near the Western Wall, one of the holiest sites in Israel.
The pregnant woman had a forced C-section after the shooting.
She and the baby remain listed in serious condition.
One of the men that was wounded was shielding a woman from the bullets.
A witness stated, “He actually saved the girl next to him. He jumped over when the bullet was flying, and he saved — I don’t know how old the girl was — but he saved someone, and it was like a big deal.”
US ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides stated, “Deeply saddened to confirm that Americans were injured in this attack.
“I’ve spoken with the families and will keep them in my prayers.”
These attacks continue to take place with Israel remaining under attack from the Gaza Strip.
I am still waiting to hear a statement from any Squad member decrying the attack against innocents by one of their beloved Palestinians.
