The dominance of Fox News has officially ended.
When Fox News started to go against Trump during the election cycle, ratings dropped.
For the first time in forever, Fox News found itself in a ratings battle.
Most assumed that would just be a quick blip on the radar, but the problems have continued for Fox News.
Massive Drop
The week of the Capitol riots saw Fox News sink to a recent low.
Fox did not just drop from the top, the network placed third behind both CNN and MSNBC, two networks Fox News has absolutely dominated in the past.
Between January 4 and 10, Fox News garnered a paltry 1.7 million daily viewers.
This was behind MSNBC (2.3 million) and CNN (2.8 million).
Fox also finished third behind these two networks for average prime-time viewers during that period.
After five full years of dominance as the #1 rated news show in cable news, Fox News is getting a hard dose of humble pie.
In response, Fox announced a massive shakeup to its daily lineup as it makes moves to try to win back conservatives that abandoned the network during the election cycle.
