Last week, there was a report that there was a bit of a rift between Rudy Giuliani and President Trump.
According to the report, Trump was holding back on paying legal bills for Giuliani because he was unhappy about the daily fees that he had been charged during the fight to overturn the election.
Now, reports are surfacing that Giuliani will not be part of Trump’s legal defense team for the impeachment, but the reason is not what most of us would have assumed.
As it turns out, Giuliani will not be on the team because he may be called as a witness during the Senate hearing.
Giuliani, on this matter, stated, “Due to the fact that I may be a witness, the rules of legal ethics would prohibit me from representing the President as trial counsel in the impeachment trial.”
As of now, there is no firm date set for the Senate to pursue the impeachment or even an expected date for Pelosi to forward the documents.
We do know, however, that it does seem that there is growing support among RINO and establishment Republicans to oust Trump from the party permanently, so do not be surprised to see this get very ugly, very quickly once a date is settled upon.
