Hollywood liberals are telling everyone that robberies are just part of life in a big city.
Seth Rogan recently tweeted that people should not be upset when they are robbed; it is just how it is.
Well, I wonder how they all feel now that the lack of prosecution has led to a massive wave of smash-and-grab looting that has now cost a man his life.
The problem when you do not enforce petty crimes is that they quickly become felony crimes.
If the police and city officials do not protect the people, they take measures to protect themselves.
In these cases, someone often winds up dead.
In this case, a security guard was shot dead as he tried to protect a news crew filming the smash-and-grab crimes.
We mourn the loss of retired police officer Kevin Nishita who honorably served our Bay Area Community. He was protecting/guarding a local news crew when he was senselessly murdered. Today, we escorted his body from the hospital with full law enforcement honors. 🙏 pic.twitter.com/ZbKRn7J732

High-end stores are now being hit, with some of these robberies netting hundreds of thousands of dollars in loot.
This is a wave that has swept through the Bay Area of California, with no store now safe from these attacks.
Home Depot employee Luis Romo stated, “We tried to stop them.
“We closed the front entrance and they put their sledgehammers up and whoever got in the way, they were going to hurt them.”
Holiday shoppers are now terrified to enter stores, knowing this could happen at any time.
So, what is the response? Some areas are now looking to limit shopping hours, but this penalizes law-abiding citizens rather than the criminals committing the crimes.
Sadly, the more these successful robberies are reported, the more emboldened looters are becoming around the country.
For instance, early Thanksgiving morning, Chicago reported several instances of looting.
In Minnesota, a Best Buy store was targeted by a large group of about 30 people, with several other instances also reported.
Chris Walton, a former Target executive who co-leads retail blog and podcast Omni Talk, stated, “Across the board, retailers are getting more concerned with this growing trend. … It is definitely a tough problem to solve, given the organized nature and number of people involved in many of the incidents.”
Liberal politicians and DAs are largely responsible for this because of their failure or prosecute petty crimes and no-bail, low-bail programs.
Police know that even if they do arrest these people, the likelihood of prosecution is minimal, so what is the point.
All the while, these criminals are becoming more and more brazen.
We are only a few days into the holiday shopping cycle and one man has already lost his life.
How many more times will that happen before Democrats and liberals there is a reason why crimes, all crimes, are prosecuted and punished?
