Indigenous Health Expert Dismissed for Lying About Ancestry

Canada’s version of Senator Warren (D-MA) has just lost her job.

Carrie Bourassa, a public health expert who served as scientific director of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research’s Institute of Indigenous Peoples’ Health, has been suspended.

The reason… she has been lying about her Native American ancestry.

It is baffling that these people create these lies then stick by them with the technology available today.

Bourassa has claimed she is a member of the Métis Nation.

A massive investigation was undertaken to trace her heritage, and it turns out she has been telling a rather significant lie.

When her lines were traced, she actually descended from a line of farmers who hailed from Russia, Poland, and Czechoslovakia.

Janet Smylie, a Métis professor at the University of Toronto, stated, “It makes you feel a bit sick.

“To have an impostor who is speaking on behalf of Métis and indigenous people to the country about literally what it means to be Métis … that’s very disturbing and upsetting and harmful.”

Her big lie started when Bourassa gave a 2019 TedX talk, stating, “My name is Morning Star Bear.

“I’m Bear Clan.

“I’m Anishinaabe Métis from Treaty Four Territory.

Her fellow professors never believed it, with Winona Wheeler, an associate professor of Indigenous studies at the college, stating, “When I saw that TEDx, to be quite honest, I was repulsed by how hard she was working to pass herself off as indigenous.”

After being pressed on her claim, Bourassa eventually changed her story, stating that a friend of her grandfather’s had adopted her into the community.

She stated, “Even though Clifford (her grandfather) passed, those bonds are even deeper than death because the family has taken me as if I was their blood family.

“In turn, I serve the Métis community to the best of my ability.”

Uhm, yeah, but you don’t get to say you are actually a member of the tribe because someone “adopted” you.

At least Canada is doing the right thing and ending her career.

Here in the states, Warren was able to keep her office and was among the final candidates in the last presidential race.

Had she been a Republican and made those claims, her career would have been ended with calls of racism attached.

That is the reality of what Democrats are able to get away with these days.

Jen Psaki: "My advice to everyone out there who's frustrated, sad, angry, pissed off, feel those emotions, go to a kickboxing class, have a margarita..."

UNREAL. How is this the "advice" that is now coming from the White House?

Biden claimed “America is back” when he took office.

Instead, he handed the Taliban a safe haven in Afghanistan and gave Putin the “green light” to invade Ukraine.
