When Joe Biden was nominated by the Democrat Party for the presidential election, Hunter vowed to separate himself from his Chinese investments.
Hunter would later do a national TV interview vowing the same.
Well, 100 days into Joe Biden’s first term, Hunter still has Chinese business interests and there are no signs that is about to change.
Back in February, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked why Hunter still had Chinese investments.
At the time, Psaki stated, “He has been working to unwind his investment, but I would certainly point you — he’s a private citizen.
“I would point you to him or his lawyers on the outside on any update.”
I may be naïve, but it should not take months to “unwind” a 10 percent stake in a company.
Yet, here we are, more than three months later, and Hunter still holds his 10 percent stake in Bohai Harvest RST Equity Investment Fund Management Co.
The interest in held via Skaneateles LLC, which is Hunter Biden’s company.
When the White House was asked about this, an official pointed back to Psaki’s statement in February.
In other words, shut up, we will do what we want and there is nothing you can do about it.
