I know I have asked about this before, but exactly where is that “plan” Biden touted during the election that he had to get the pandemic under control in this country.
In reality, Joe Biden had no plan, and if it were not for the vaccine, who knows how long this situation would be ongoing with Joe behind the Resolute Desk.
During Biden’s CNN town hall, Biden broke the news that he does not expect things to return to normal until “next Christmas.”
When Does It End?
Anderson Cooper had an opportunity to really put Joe on the spot about his plan, but he decided to only serve up an easy lob pitch, then get out the way.
Copper asked, “When do you think this pandemic is — I mean, when are we — when is it going to be done? When are we going to get back to normal?”
Biden responded, “They tell me, be careful not to predict things that you don’t know for certain what’s going to happen because then you’ll be held accountable. I get that.”
He continued, “And now they’re saying, somewhere around 70 percent of the people have to constitute, some people said 50, 60, but a significant number have to be in a position where they are — they have been vaccinated and/or they’ve been through it or … and have antibodies.
“So if that works that way, as my mother would say, with the grace of God and the goodwill of the neighbors, that by next Christmas, I think we’ll be in a very different circumstance, God willing, than we are today.”
God willing… that is Joe Biden’s plan?
First, Cooper did not get Biden to clarify if he actually meant what would technically be this Christmas, meaning Christmas 2021, or “next” Christmas, meaning Christmas 2022.
That aside, however, Biden basically admitted that were it not for the vaccine, he had no plan to do anything.
If he is relying on the vaccine and herd immunity, he has put no plan in place or come up with anything different than what Trump was doing in office.
Cooper, however, did not even think about asking Biden about his “plan,” and my guess is because he has come to the hard realization that Biden has no plan, never did, and he does not want to be the one to expose him.
We could grade the entire town hall as an epic failure based on CNN’s own fact-check of the event.
In all, CNN found seven different comments by Biden that were either wrong or lacked context, including Biden’s claim that there was no vaccine available when he took office.
Mind you, Biden had received the first dose of the vaccine BEFORE taking office and the vaccine would not even be available were it not for Operation Warp Speed.
In virtually every point that was made during the fact-check, Cooper has covered at some point, but he failed to check Biden in real-time, just confirming what we already know about how the media plans on treating Biden in the post-Trump era.
