Democrats are about to lose their collective minds.
Loudoun County Public Schools teacher Byron “Tanner” Cross had been suspended for refusing to use the preferred pronoun for transgender students.
Judge James E. Plowman has now reversed that decision, and he has ordered that Cross can now return to work.
The entire transgender issue in this country is now becoming a First Amendment issue centered around religious beliefs.
If someone defies science regarding their gender, do you have to respect that if your faith and science dictate their biological gender?
In this case, Cross refused to recognize “a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa” due to his Christian Faith.
The Judge also blasted the school for taking such drastic action with only weeks left in in the school year.
He stated, “Action could certainly have been taken by the Defendants that did not rise to this extreme.”
The outrage after Cross made some statements on gender identity during a meeting to address the rights of transgender students.
At the time, Cross stated, “I love all of my students, but I will never lie to them regardless of the consequences.
“I’m a teacher, but I serve God first, and I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa because it’s against my religion.
“It’s lying to a child, it’s abuse to a child, and it’s sinning against our God.”
He was objecting to a new policy that stated, “staff shall allow gender-expansive or transgender students to use their chosen name and gender pronouns that reflect their gender identity without any substantiating evidence.”
I would fully expect this case to get elevated and possibly even go to the Supreme Court at some point, which would give our Court the opportunity to settle this issue once and for all.
