Republicans made a huge move last week by allowing Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) to rebut the speech given by Biden.
After hearing how racist this country is and how awful white people are, Scott gave a blistering retort that has Democrats scrambling.
It has worked so well, in fact, that Harris has had to backtrack on the administration’s constant claims that America is inherently racist.
Biden and Harris seem reluctant to take the tact internet trolls have taken against Scott.
With racial slurs such as “Uncle Tim” flying around on social media, Harris was smart enough to realize undermining Scott would create more outrage than a reversal on this issue.
So, after years of telling people that America is a racist nation, Harris has suddenly flipped, stating, “I believe that we need to adj… well, first of all… no. I don’t think America is a racist country, but we also do have to speak truth about the history of racism in our country and its existence today.”
Biden made a similar statement later in the week, even after discussing systemic racism in the country during his congressional speech.
Van Jones, however, disagreed, continuing to push the race card…
Jones has not been paying attention, however, as there is now significant pushback on social media from minority communities that are sick and tired of Democrats making them out as though they can only accomplish things with the government’s help.
This whole race card tactic is finally wearing thin and with Scott on the front lines, it is hard to imagine continuing to push this narrative will be anything but disastrous for Democrats and the media.
