McConnell: No Stimulus Negotiation Until 2021

For those needing stimulus help before the end of the year, your hopes were just dampened.

House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) and her fellow Democrats refuse to budge on a stimulus package, insisting on packing any bill with unnecessary spending.

That being the case, Senate Majority Leader McConnell (R-KY) has officially pulled the plug, saying that a package will not be passed until the beginning of next year.

Game Over

McConnell broke the bad news on Friday.

He stated, “We probably need to do another package, certainly more modest than the $3 trillion Nancy Pelosi package.

“I think that’ll be something we’ll need to do right at the beginning of the year.”

“We could target it particularly at small businesses that are struggling, and hospitals that are now dealing with the second wave of the coronavirus, and of course the challenges for education, both K-12 and college.”

If it were not an election year, I have little doubt that a package would have been reached to help those most in need impacted by the forced government shutdowns around the country.

Sadly, Democrats don’t want to give Trump anything to celebrate before the election, so, as usual, the people of this country get held hostage so Democrats can try to regain power.

Biden claimed “America is back” when he took office.

Instead, he handed the Taliban a safe haven in Afghanistan and gave Putin the “green light” to invade Ukraine.
