Joe Biden and company have a new narrative.
Now that gasoline prices have dropped below $4.00 per gallon, Joe gave you a raise.
CNN was happy to help push the narrative.
CNN ran a story with the headline, “ICYMI: America Just Got A $100-A-Month Raise.”
The piece goes on in great detail about how falling gasoline prices put, on average, about $100 a month back into the pockets of American families.
Yeah, but they are still paying $100 more than they were before Joe Biden took office, so this is a line of complete and utter nonsense.
We are still in the red, so this is hardly a “raise,” and CNN should be ashamed for pushing this garbage.
There is also the fact that Biden had virtually nothing to do with shrinking prices.
If you look at consumption, it is down, almost 10 percent, from where it was before.
Bottom line is that Americans are keeping their cars parked and staying home, so demand has shrunk considerably.
When demand shrinks, prices go down, and supply can catch up, which is what happened here.
Joe took our money, but Americans are helping get it back to normal.
Sorry, Joe, you do not get credit for this one no matter how hard CNN pushes.
