REPORT: FBI Has Mole Inside Trump Camp

A bombshell report in Newsweek has many conservatives up in arms.

If the report is accurate, the FBI has a mole inside Donald Trump’s camp.

That mole led to the FBI raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

I Know Where It’s At

Even though nobody will officially go on the record, two government sources have confirmed to Newsweek that the raid was from inside information.

The informant claimed that Trump was still “hiding” information.

Now, I want to be clear about the idiocy of this claim.

The documents in question were in guarded storage at Mar-a-Lago.

As I have reported before, it is not uncommon for exiting presidents to take documents for their memoirs and presidential library.

Barack Obama has millions of documents that were removed for a library that, six years after his presidency, has yet to be completed and opened to the public.

Joe Biden has all his vice presidential documents at the University of Delaware.

This is not to mention that the National Archives director had also visited Trump’s estate regarding documents that had been removed, getting the full cooperation of Donald Trump.

Again, if reporting is accurate, the National Archives knew what documents Trump still had and made recommendations on storage and security.

The fuss is reportedly being made over such items as a personal note to Trump from North Korea’s president on a cocktail napkin and a personal letter.

The Newsweek report goes on to say that the informant knew precisely what items Trump still had and exactly where they were, which would explain the agents breaking into Donald Trump’s safe.

It would also explain why the search warrant has been sealed, as the agency is likely trying to protect its informant.

One of the officials that spoke with Newsweek stated, “I know that there is much speculation out there that this is political persecution, but it is really the best and the worst of the bureaucracy in action.

“They wanted to punctuate the fact that this was a routine law enforcement action, stripped of any political overtones, and yet [they] got exactly the opposite.”

The second official noted, “They were seeking to avoid any media circus.

“So even though everything made sense bureaucratically and the FBI feared that the documents might be destroyed, they also created the very firestorm they sought to avoid, in ignoring the fallout.”

This is all an effort to prosecute Trump for the violation of the 1978 Presidential Records Act, which states, “Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined” $2,000, up to three years in prison or “shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.”

That last line is clearly what this administration is hoping to accomplish here.

Ironically, it was Trump that signed a law in 2018 that made the removal of retaining of classified information a felony, which was done in response to the Hillary Clinton email scandal.

However, her situation is far different from what is happening here with Trump, in that, if I understand the timeline, the documents he had retained in his possession were known to the National Archives and properly secured.

And, again, this is something every past president has done, not to mention presidents are required to have a library documenting their presidency.

Still, three days later, we have no formal statement from any talking head involved in approving this raid.
