Sunday afternoon, Chicago police responded to a call of a man with a gun in the Englewood section of the city.

As police pursued the man, he turned and fired, so police returned fire and hit the man.

Not long afterward, crowds started to gather in protest of the shooting, then all hell broke loose throughout the city.

The New Normal

What is happening now is a direct result of the liberal and Democrat attitude toward police.

When you paint one incident as the norm, you get people rioting over situations where the police were 100 percent right in returning fire.

This attack the Democrats have waged against our police have made this the new norm anytime a police officer is now involved in a shooting involving a black suspect.

The good news out of all this is that Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot finally seems to have been woke to the fact these are not legitimate protests, but thugs looking for any excuse to loot businesses and cause havoc in city…
