NY Times Wanted Schumer to Check Scott Op-ed

In this country, the media is supposed to fact-check politicians, not the other way around.

For the New York Times, that process appears to be backward.

A report broke this week that journalists at the Times wanted to send a Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) op-ed to Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) for approval before publishing.

Not the Way It Works

Scott has just written some legislation so he was doing an op-ed to get some support for it.

His op-ed apparently made the journalists at the Times uncomfortable.

The allegations came from a former NYT journalist who left because the outlet had moved so far to the left.

Scott was flabbergasted when he heard the allegations.

GOP CHAIR TWEETS

A year ago today, Merrick Garland issued a memo directing the FBI to act on a letter that labeled parents “domestic terrorists.”

The only way we hold Biden accountable is electing Republican majorities in the House and Senate.
