Omar’s Opponent Says Her Campaign is Falling Apart

Freshman congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is in BIG trouble in her campaign.

If we follow the money, it points to a massive defeat at the hands of Atone Melton-Meaux.

Melton-Meaux has dwarfed Omar’s fundraising, beating her by more than 4:1 in the last quarter.

Now only days away from defending her seat in the primary election, Omar is getting more bad press for having paid her husband roughly 75 percent of the campaign money she has spent in the last quarter.

Melton-Meaux stated the obvious in claiming that Omar’s campaign is “falling apart” all around her.

He stated, “She has been ineffective in Washington because she is divisive, and she’s focused on her celebrity.”

When addressing a question about a recent complaint filed against him, Melton-Meaux stated it is nothing more than “a desperate attempt by the DFL to resurrect Congresswoman Omar’s campaign that is falling apart.”
