Beto O’Rourke was trying to score points with Texans after seeing how Glenn Youngkin defeated Terry McAuliffe in Virginia.
Youngkin made it all about Virginians while McAuliffe relied on Democrat star power to bail him out.
So, when O’Rourke was asked if Biden would join him on the campaign trail to turn Texas blue, O’Rourke brushed the idea off.
When O’Rourke was asked about the campaign strategy, he stated, “This campaign in Texas is not going to be about Joe Biden.
“It’s not going to be about Donald Trump.
“It’s not going to be about anyone from outside of our state.
“This is going to be about the people of Texas and what the people of Texas want.
“I’m focused on Texas and on my fellow Texans. Those are the people most important to me.
“There’s no politician, there’s no other person from outside of this state who can help change the course of this election, for better or for worse.”
So, here is the real question…
If O’Rourke really feels that way, who is he going to allow to contribute to his campaign?
We know a lot of celebrities and big money men, like George Soros, love O’Rourke and his radical ideas.
For those that live outside the state of Texas, will he refuse their money and only take money from Texans? And this would include SuperPAC money.
If a reporter doesn’t ask him, you better believe I will show up at an O’Rourke event when he is in my area and put that exact question to him.
