Several days ago, failed senate and presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke announced he was going to run against Governor Abbott in the upcoming Texas gubernatorial race.
In doing so, he reaffirmed his desire to unarm law-abiding citizens.
As I suspected, the message was not received well, as voters personally told O’Rourke how they felt about him running the state of Texas.
O’Rourke is already on the campaign trail, and he is being greeted just as I suspected.
The days of conservatives sitting on their hands seem to be over, which was bad news for O’Rourke.
One man told him, “We don’t want you here.”
He continued, “On behalf of the ranchers, the oil and gas and farmers, I’m in your grill telling you don’t come back.”
As Beto was walking away, the man stated, “Nobody wants you here. No means no. Three times – you lost twice. No means no!”

I can say confidently this man has no chance of winning but a great chance to create a lot of hostility as he appears on the trail.
Beto is going to get a rude awakening just about everywhere but his own backyard.
