Late Thursday night, horrifying reports surfaced out of Indianapolis.
A mass shooting took place at a local FedEx facility, leaving at least eight people dead.
There were at least six others injured, four of them hospitalized, with one of those listed in critical condition.
The news of the shooting broke early Friday morning, with local law enforcement announcing the shooting around 1:00 a.m. local time.
The reports stated that the shooting occurred around 11:00 p.m. local time at the Indianapolis FedEx facility.
Police are still investigating the relationship between the shooter and the facility and/or the victims…

The shooter reportedly took his own life, with no law enforcement officers being hurt in the attack.
One worker, Jeremiah Miller, who was between shifts at the facility heard shots ring out, then stated, “This made me stand up and actually look out the entrance door, and I saw a man with a submachine gun of some sort, an automatic rifle, and he was firing in the open.
“I immediately ducked down and got scared and my friend’s mother, she came in and told us to get inside the car.”
