Pilots Identified in NAVY Training Crash in Alabama

Over the weekend, tragedy struck when a training flight went bad.

The training plane crashed into a neighborhood area, with both pilots aboard being killed.

The two have now been identified, both women… one Naval officer and one Coast Guard officer.

Pilots identified

The first was Navy Lt. Rhiannon Ross.

Ross was reportedly serving as the instructor pilot at the time of the crash.

Her trainee has been identified as Coast Guard Ensign Morgan Garrett, a student naval aviator.

The Crash

Reports of the crash were first made late Friday afternoon, early Friday evening.

Video surfaced of a U.S. Navy T-6B Texan II Trainer going down in an Alabama neighborhood.

Luckily, no civilians were injured in the tragic crash.

The crash itself is still be investigated by authorities.
