I am starting to wonder if White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre rides to work every day on a short-yellow bus.
The answers that come out of her mouth are almost comical.
Nothing beats her take on the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago, however.
When Jean-Pierre was asked about the raid being a possible overreach, she was immediately taken aback by the accusation.
She stated, “So, just to comment on what I just heard, this is not true.
“The Department of Justice, when it comes to law enforcement, is independent.
“This is what we believe, and this is what the president has said.
“This is not about politicizing anything. That is not true at all.”
Raise your hand if you think the DOJ is acting independently of the Executive Branch…
That is what I thought… not a single hand in the air.
As bad as this is, there are people we really need to hold accountable for this on the right.
Let’s not forget that 20 Republicans Senators confirmed Garland, all giving him glowing support.
The most notable of which were Senators Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).
I think all of you would find Graham’s comments of particular interest.
Personally, if I ever have the opportunity to speak with him in person, I plan on throwing them back in his face and asking him why the American people should ever trust a single word that comes out of his mouth again.
