It’s Monday morning, which means another horrific report coming out of Chicago for weekend violence.
Normally, during the winter months, the violence starts to trend backward, but it seems to be holding rather steady in Chicago this year.
By Sunday night, a total of at least 50 shootings were reported with five fatalities.
The Bloodbath Continues
While every news outlet in the country covered the Wisconsin mall shooting, nobody seems very interested in what is going on in Chicago, or any of the other cities in this country where violence rules the day.
So far this year, Chicago has more than 670 murders and more than 3,600 shootings.
This is a 53 percent increase in shootings from 2019, taking the city back to numbers it saw during the very violent stretch in the mid-1990s.
By the way, Lightfoot is still blaming all the violence on Donald Trump and Republicans.
Portland also continues to rage out of control with rioting dating back to the George Floyd shooting.
However, all the media seems to be concerned with is Trump supporters that don’t want to be locked down for Thanksgiving.
