It never ceases to amaze me how corrupt the Obama-Biden administration was, especially as the administration was winding down.
It seems as though those two were doing everything in their power to undermine Trump’s incoming administration.
Now, a new report on The Federalist makes it far worse than anyone ever thought.
The Phone Call
A phone call between then-Vice President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was recently leaked to the media.
In that call, it seems to be very clear that Biden was not only sabotaging the incoming administration, but he also seems to make it pretty clear he plans on meddling as a private citizen, a clear violation of the Logan Act.
Discussing the Trump administration, Biden stated, “The truth of the matter is that the incoming administration doesn’t know a great deal about [Ukraine].”
Biden also reportedly stated how unprepared the incoming administration was for the transition, which is completely inappropriate.
However, that is not the worst of it.
Biden continued, “I don’t plan on going away.
“As a private citizen, I plan on staying deeply engaged in the endeavor that you have begun and we have begun.”
Logan Act Violation
The Logan Act is something that has come up quite a bit in regard to the actions of former Obama officials.
This law prevents private citizens from engaging in foreign policy on behalf of the United States without the proper authority.
Biden is openly admitting to setting up a backchannel here, which is completely illegal.
He is clearly counting on the fact that nobody has EVER been convicted of violating the law since its inception, but his words are a clear violation of that Act.
Now, add this to Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine at the time, and we have a full-blown scandal and national security risk.
The only question is why is our Justice Department refusing to hold Biden accountable?
Correction… the second question would be why the media is not pouncing on this and hammering Biden with questions about his blatant undermining of the incoming administration as well as what seems to be an open and shut case regarding a violation of the Logan Act?
