Dr. Fauci could have a bit of a scandal brewing in his backyard.
Rep. Scott Perry (D-PA) is stirring up some trouble for Fauci regarding funding that was received by the now infamous lab in Wuhan, China.
Specifically, Perry wants to know why there was no oversight on a grant that was issued to the lab by the United States.

The grant in question was a total of $600,000 but a federal oversight board specifically created to scrutinize such grants was never notified of the grant.
According to the report, it would have fallen under Fauci’s NIAID to forward the information.
Perry stated, “When it comes to oversight of U.S. tax dollars headed to the Chinese Communist Party, Dr. Fauci seems like he’s literally whistling past the graveyard.”
Perry further stated that the House Foreign Affairs Committee, of which he is a member, will call Fauci to testify on this matter if he has his way.
Perry stated, “We seem so cavalier about this approval paradigm for this funding and the definitions seemingly allow you to drive a truck through them regarding what is gain-of-function research and what isn’t.
“It seems to me this was done by design to allow this kind of research to be done in these kinds of places without any kind of scrutiny. And this is the result of that.”
Perry, however, is not exactly hopeful that he will get the outcome that he wants.
Without Republicans having the majority, the responsibility to actually call Fauci will rest with Democrats.
To that point, Perry stated, “I won’t be surprised after requesting to bring these folks in as witnesses have an open hearing about it that those things fail to ever occur. I won’t be surprised.
“In the minority, we can’t force it.
“If they’re not going to allow it or to pursue it, then it just won’t happen in the House side.”
Fauci has completely sold out as a Biden groupie, so it would not be a surprise if Perry’s concerns come true.
