He wasn’t on the ballot, but there’s no debating that Donald Trump didn’t exactly come out of midterms smelling like roses.
That sounds like terrible news for conservatives. But here’s the thing…
Neither did Joe Biden.
Despite liberals holding off the red wave that we all thought was coming, it was in no part thanks to Joe Biden.
Time will tell after all of the election results are official, but it’s my theory that the less reliant candidates were on Joe Biden, the more successful they may have been.
Despite Trump’s incredible record in primaries, his endorsement didn’t automatically mean a victory in midterms. Just ask Dr. Oz.
The Republicans that did the best were the ones that weren’t dependent on Trump’s endorsement, like Ron DeSantis.
Liberals didn’t want to get to close to Joe Biden either. Take Joe Manchin for example.
You would think that all Democrats would need to provide a united front this of all weeks. Senator Joe Manchin wasn’t about to bend his morals just because his party wanted him to. He’s proved it before, and he just proved it again.
He’s NOT supporting Joe Biden’s nomination of Richard Glick for another term as a member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Manchin spokesperson Sam Runyon announced that Macho Manchin was “not comfortable holding a hearing” in regards to Richard Glick.
Opposing Biden is not a new thing for Manchin, he is also upset about Joe Biden’s recent plan to shut down coal plants.
“President Biden’s comments are not only outrageous and divorced from reality, they ignore the severe economic pain the American people are feeling because of rising energy costs,” Manchin claimed.
