The boycott of the All-Star Game in Atlanta is having all kinds of ramifications that neither Major League Baseball nor Democrats had in mind.
At the top of that list is MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred.
Manfred is now getting called out by Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) over the blatant hypocrisy, with Rubio even suggesting that Manfred resign his membership to Augusta National in Georgia.
Senator Rubio penned a letter calling out the commissioner so all could see the hypocrisy of the move by the league.
In part, Rubio stated, “Will Major League Baseball now end its engagement with nations that do not hold elections at all like China and Cuba?
“Will you end your lucrative financial relationship with Tencent, a company with deep ties to the Communist Party and actively helps the Chinese Government hunt down and silence political dissidents?”
He continued, “Similarly, I am under no illusion you intend to resign as a member from Augusta National Golf Club.
“To do so would require a personal sacrifice, as opposed to the woke corporate virtue signaling of moving the All-Star Game from Atlanta.”
Rubio to @MLB Commissioner Manfred: will you resign as a member from Augusta National Golf Club too? ⚾️⛳️

Ironically, it was recently announced that the game will now be moved to Denver, a city with less than half the black population that Atlanta has as well as having very similar voting laws already in place.
None of it makes sense… unless you are a leftist.
