Senator Schumer Mocks Texas Amid Winter Storm Outages

New York Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer just proved to the entire country that he has absolutely no class at all.

Ever since Democrats won the two seats in Georgia, in essence giving them the majority, he cannot help the smirk that is on his face 24 hours a day.

In the process, Schumer has made some pretty bold statements, but this one just goes beyond the pale.

No Class, Chuck

Depending upon the side of the aisle the individual currently resides in, the narrative over the power grid problems in Texas varies.

While both sides fight over the grid issues being related to renewable energy or fossil fuels, we do have a few facts to clean this up.

We know almost half the wind turbines were frozen, basically shutting down about 11.5 percent of Texas’ energy resources.

This may not have been the sole reason the grid went down, but it clearly played a part.

Regardless, taking potshots at Texans while they are still trying to get running water is a pretty classless shot by a United States Senator, but that is exactly what Schumer did.

In part, Schumer stated, “The bottom line is, Texas thought it could go it alone and built a system that ignored climate change.

“It was not what’s called resilient, and now Texas is paying the price.

“I hope they learned a lesson.”

I cannot help but wonder if, for fun, Schumer also walks up to homeless people and tips over their change cup.
