One of the more outrageous crimes we have seen in recent years has come to an odd conclusion.
Kenneth Manzanares was found dead in his prison cell last week.
Manzanares had been convicted of murdering his wife while on an Alaskan cruise.
In 2017, the disturbing story broke.
Manzanares has been on a family cruise to Alaska when trouble broke out.
The couple was reportedly arguing when his wife told him that she wanted a divorce and that he should get off the ship at the next port.
Manzanares told his daughters to leave the room, but they tried to return when they heard their mother screaming.
The door had been locked, but the girls could see into the room via a connected balcony.
What they saw was horrifying… their father standing over their mother literally beating her to death.
The victim’s brothers and father “arrived on scene and observed Kenneth Manzanares grab Kristy’s body and drag her toward the balcony. One of Kristy’s brothers then grabbed her ankles and pulled her back into the cabin.”
Last year, Manzanares pleaded guilty and had only served a few weeks of his sentence when he was found unresponsive in his cell.
Authorities stated they do not expect foul play to have played a part in his death.
