Matt Gaetz Wants Jim Jordan as Speaker Over McCarthy

The revolt is beginning.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has proven to be spineless and weak as a leader in the Republican Party.

Now, members are starting to speak up against him.

Rep. Gaetz (R-FL), who seems to swim in controversy at all times, is now among them.

No More McCarthy

I am all for McCarthy getting ousted as leader.

It will take someone tough to keep the House in order regardless of who wins in 2024, but that is especially true if it is Trump.

We saw how ineffective a weak leader can be when Paul Ryan led the House during the first two years of Trump’s presidency.

For that reason, Gaetz is hoping for change, and soon.

He stated, “For my money, the best person to be speaker of the House would be Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio.

“Our base trusts him. He’s the hardest working, most talented member.”

Jordan took on McCarthy once before but lost convincingly.

Sadly, the same would probably happen again.

McCarthy is more mainstream, whereas Jordan is now considered a fringe member.

Besides, Jordan has already openly supported McCarthy for Speaker if the GOP wins.

If Jordan is not open to running against McCarthy, do not be surprised to see someone else rises to the challenge.

Biden promised to build an economy from “the bottom up and middle out.”

Instead, he “built” an economy where 1/3 of households are skipping meals or cutting portions to afford the rising cost of food.

A year ago today, Merrick Garland issued a memo directing the FBI to act on a letter that labeled parents “domestic terrorists.”

The only way we hold Biden accountable is electing Republican majorities in the House and Senate.
